What door is right for your project?
The type of door your project may require depends on the installation location: be it a front door, patio door, or internal door.
In addition to factors such as security and style for your doors, an important factor in your decision is the overall installation space for the door as well as the room available for the door to swing in or out, fold or slide.
Different door shapes and functions
For doors that connect the inside to garden, balcony or yard – patio doors – we offer four main styles based on opening type:

uPVC, timber and aluminium clad versions of each all come with a unique combination of insulating, security and durability properties, not to mention aesthetic -whether timber, aluminium or uPVC – can be supplied in any colour.
For large patio door systems, budget concerns can be an issue for some projects. Fortunately, even the most affordable materials can be upgraded with additional fittings and insulating features if required which can bring them to the same level as timber.
For those on a stricter budget, aluminium cladding represents the best of both worlds – aluclad uPVC provides solid security, insulation and aesthetics at a great price.
Triple Glazing is Critical for Large Glass Surfaces
Glass makes up the largest surface area of modern patio doors meaning it plays a major role in determining the overall energy-efficiency and security of the door.

Custom folding doors
Unlike sliding doors where only half the total area can be opened, folding doors open completely and create large panoramic openings into your garden or yard.
Bifold doors consist of two or more door connected panels that open concertina style, folding away flat to one side when open.
Folding patio doors are the best way to get the most natural light and largest uninterrupted views.

In contrast to old fashioned sliding doors that move along a bottom track horizontally, lift and slide doors feature a different opening mechanism that improves usability, security and energy-efficiency.
By rotating the handle, the entire sliding sash is effortlessly lifted off the ground and slid to the side. Because the sash is physically lifted off the ground to slide, it is also lowered back down when closed (whether partially or completely). This means the full weight of the sash presses downwards creating an airtight seal, eliminating draughts and energy loss.
